About Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Vintage 2013 Rosé Champagne
Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Rosé was first created in 1978, and has since only been produced in exceptional years in very limited quantities. Wholly original and surprising, the 2013 vintage was crafted with 50% Pinot Noir (Mailly, Ay, Verzy, and Rilly), 45% Chardonnay (Cramant, Avize, and Le Mesnil), and 5% Pinot Meunier (Dizy). It has spent more than 72 months aging on lees, resulting in a subtle, delicate, and warm expression that goes especially well with salmon, tuna, pigeon, and duck breast.

About Champagne
Champagne has been associated with royalties since the 17th century, still maintaining its glorious reputation.
The French take Champagne seriously, so coming from the Champagne region of France isn’t the only requirement that keeps this drink from being “just sparkling wine.” The rules of the appellation require specific vineyard practices, particular types of grapes, specific pressing methods, and secondary fermentation of wine.
